iPhone XS is the brand new model of smartphone by Apple, which started its sale last Friday. Considered to be a more updated version of iPhone X, it is not quite so when it comes to battery life.

iPhone X had a battery capacity of only 2716 mAh. But making it further disappointing is iPhone XS with a capacity of only 2658 mAh.

Apple claims that iPhone XS battery life will last 30 minutes longer than iPhone X battery life. However, iPhone X offers talk time of 21 hours, while iPhone XS offers only 20 hours of talk time.

Generally, Apple doesn’t list its battery capacity among the features of its smartphone, but thanks to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is compelled to do so.

View Stars and Constellations through Sky Safari

With the release of Sky Safari 6 for Android, the users of this app now get to enjoy a whole list of new features.

The users will now get to view the shape of constellations at present and compare it with that of 10000 years ago. The stars like any other heavenly bodies are constantly in motion, which causes the shape of the constellations to distort. Thanks to the new version of the app, now the users would be able to experience the difference.

The users will be able to find out what the position of stars would be 10000 years in the future, and accordingly, view the changes in the shape of the constellation.

The apps will allow its avid users to access its updated database, which now contains information of millions of stars, galaxies, solar systems, comets, asteroids and other heavenly bodies. The users will be able to view these bodies and get to know about them.

Microsoft’s Update for Windows 7 Users

Microsoft is all set to launch a cumulative update for Windows 7 by the end of October.

The update is meant to fix a bug related to memory leaks. It is also said to take care of the issue related to the evaluation of compatibility status.

What needs to be kept in mind before installing this cumulative update is that the system must already have the latest Service Stack Update installed in the system.

Though this update will be offered as an option, Microsoft plans to push the user to install it through emails.

All Windows 7 users should receive an automatic update information. In case one doesn’t, they can look for it manually by going to Settings option, and then the Update & Security sub option, and finally the Windows Update option.

Google and Clouldflare to Sync Internet Clocks

Difference in time is a great problem in the context of the internet, as it makes Cryptography a complex process, and raises security issues. The time followed by the web applications and browsers may not be same as the one followed by web servers, security certificate providers, and various other entities out there on the internet.

Quite common yet very practical example of a problem related to this is a browser allowing a site, with an expired security certificate, to open, making the system vulnerable to a whole lot of risks. And all this due to discrepancies related to following different time by the certificate provider, and the users’ browser and operating system.

Clouldflare, an internet security service providing company, will now support a timekeeping protocol known as Roughwork, whose function will be to synchronize all the clocks across the internet. The internet users, domain service and internet security providers across the world would have to adopt the protocol to benefit from it.

The protocol was designed by Google, and published two years ago. Considering its benefits and necessity, Cloudflare went for a buy-in, and chose to become one of its supporters. With the reach that the company has, it is expected to create a huge impact in term of popularizing the protocol.
