IBM is set to host an exciting and unique event called ‘Masters at Madison Square Park’. The event will take place from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12, giving fans in New York City a one-of-a-kind experience.
During this immersive event, fans will have the chance to play a replicated iconic hole on a golf simulator powered by AI technology. This will allow them to experience the thrill of playing on a virtual course while watching the action of the Masters Tournament unfold live on screen. In addition to the golf simulator, fans can also enjoy limited edition merchandise and specialty themed food and beverage items as part of the experience.
One of the highlights of this event is the collaboration between IBM and Shake Shack to offer three iconic Masters-inspired menu items exclusively at the Madison Square Park location. These include a Clubhouse Pimento Cheese Sandwich, Clubhouse Egg Salad Sandwich, and the Peach 50/50, a refreshing twist on a peach Arnold Palmer.
For the past 30 years, IBM and the Masters Tournament have been at the forefront of using emerging technology to enhance the fan experience. This year, they have introduced a brand new feature called Masters Vault Search and enhanced Hole Insights. These innovations, along with other AI-enabled fan features like AI Highlights, Round in Three Minutes, My Group, and the Masters app on Apple Vision Pro, aim to provide fans with a more engaging and interactive experience.
The event will run from Thursday to Sunday, with different hours of operation each day. On Thursday, April 9, the event will start at 7:30 AM and end at 8:00 PM, with the first round of Masters Coverage beginning at 7:30 AM. The Golf Simulator will be open to the public starting at 12:00 PM. On Friday, April 10, the event will be open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with the second round of Masters Coverage starting at 8:30 AM. The Golf Simulator will be available to the public from 9:00 AM.
Saturday, April 11, will see the event open from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with the Golf Simulator open to the public all day. The third round of Masters Coverage will begin at 10:00 AM. Lastly, on Sunday, April 12, the event will run from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with the Golf Simulator open from 9:00 AM. The final round of Masters Coverage will start at 10:00 AM.
The event will take place at Madison Square Park, located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 23rd Street in New York City. The pop-up event is adjacent to IBM’s flagship office at One Madison Avenue, making it easily accessible to fans and visitors.
