Samsung Electronics, a global leader in display technology, has unveiled the Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection, a curated digital exhibition available exclusively on the Samsung Art Store. This collection features 20 contemporary artists showcased at Art Basel Hong Kong, which is taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 27-29. Samsung will demonstrate the stunning detail of each artwork using its Micro RGB, OLED, and The Frame Pro displays at a dedicated booth.

Bongjun Ko, Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, highlighted the collaboration with Art Basel over the past six years and emphasized how the collection showcases the caliber of art available on the Samsung Art Store. The advanced display technology from Samsung brings priceless artworks into homes with stunning realism, offering anyone the opportunity to become a collector.

The Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection will be presented in 4K resolution on the Samsung Art Store, continuing the partnership between Samsung and Art Basel to extend the art fair experience beyond the exhibition halls to a global audience.

The collection features 25 artworks from 20 emerging and established artists represented by eight prestigious galleries, including Bank, CLC Gallery Venture, and Don Gallery. The diverse selection reflects the cultural dynamism and viewpoints that define Hong Kong’s contemporary art scene. Notable highlights include works by Chinese artists spanning six decades, Michael Najjar’s “Europa,” and Sun Yitian’s “Ken.”

Angelle Siyang-Le, Director of Art Basel Hong Kong, expressed the importance of broadening the accessibility of art through partnerships like the one with Samsung. The goal is to bring high-quality art into homes in a way that feels both accessible and immersive, enriching daily life with great art experiences.

In addition to the Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection, Samsung will present a curated selection of 20 works from the Lee Kun-Hee Collection on the Samsung Art Store during Art Basel Hong Kong 2026. This partnership with the National Museum of Korea showcases works from the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-Hee’s renowned art collection, reflecting a commitment to cultural preservation and public access.

The Lee Kun-Hee Collection includes pieces such as “Sun, Moon and Five Peaks” and “Ten Symbols of Longevity,” which have shaped artistic discourse across generations and continue to resonate with contemporary art circles. The collection will be available on the Samsung Art Store through January 2027, providing digital access to important works of Korean artistic heritage to a global audience.

Samsung’s 2026 expanded Art TV lineup, including The Frame and The Frame Pro, integrates art seamlessly with technology and design to create an immersive art-viewing experience. The lineup also includes Micro RGB, Neo QLED, and OLED displays, offering consumers flexibility in incorporating premium art experiences into their living spaces. The Samsung Art Store, available across the complete Art TV lineup, features over 5,000 works by 80+ partners, including the Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection.

As a leading TV brand for 20 consecutive years, Samsung continues to advance display innovation designed to faithfully render works of art, bridging the gap between art and technology in everyday spaces.
