Hello everyone, I’m Takeshi Yamanaka, and I’m excited to share some news about the upcoming game, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
Recently, at the Arc World Tour 2025–2026 Finals in Korea, we unveiled the second team that will be featured in the game: the Amazing Guardians. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the latest Team Reveal Trailer, make sure to check it out.
The Amazing Guardians are a team comprised of heroes from a new generation. Led by Spider-Man, voiced by Josh Keaton, the team also includes Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, and Peni Parker. Each hero brings their unique abilities and personality to the team, setting the stage for an exciting adventure in Episode Mode.
One of the new playable characters introduced is Peni Parker, a Japanese-American student and brilliant young scientist who pilots a powerful mech suit called SP//dr. In the game, Peni uses a variety of gadgets and tools to strategize and fight in battles. Keep an ear out for her occasional switch to speaking Japanese, adding a touch of authenticity to her character.
The trailer also introduces a mysterious figure known as the Promoter, voiced by Sabrina Fest. As an Elder of the Universe, the Promoter organizes entertainment on a grand scale and invites our heroes to a high-stakes tournament that will determine the fate of Earth. The question remains, will our heroes and villains rise to the challenge, and what other surprises does the Promoter have in store?
In addition to new characters and storylines, the game now features an Automatic Team Name Generation feature. This fun addition creates team names based on the selected characters and Marvel lore, adding a new layer of customization to the gameplay experience.
Based on feedback from Closed Beta tests, the development team has made improvements and refinements to the game to enhance the overall gameplay experience. Players can expect smoother gameplay and a more polished experience based on the feedback received.
For those eager to try out the latest demo, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be showcased at EVO Japan 2026 in Tokyo from May 1-3. The demo will include Peni Parker as a playable character and the Knowhere battle stage, offering players a chance to experience the game firsthand.
