In a significant move to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across a broad range of industries, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and NVIDIA have unveiled a new suite of AI solutions at the HPE Discover event in Las Vegas. This collaboration aims to provide versatile, scalable AI infrastructure that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of enterprises looking to integrate AI technologies into their operations.
The centerpiece of this initiative is a new lineup of offerings collectively known as AI factory solutions. These include modular AI factory infrastructure, HPE’s AI-ready RTX PRO Servers (specifically the HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12), and an updated version of HPE’s turnkey AI platform, HPE Private Cloud AI. These tools are designed to help enterprises construct and scale generative, agentic, and industrial AI solutions, which are becoming increasingly essential in today’s data-driven world.
The NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio now stands as one of the most comprehensive in the market. It merges NVIDIA’s advanced technologies, such as the Blackwell accelerated computing, Spectrum-X Ethernet, and BlueField-3 networking solutions, with HPE’s own extensive lineup of servers, storage, services, and software. This includes HPE OpsRamp Software, which provides a validated observability solution for the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory, as well as HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software for orchestration. Together, these components form a pre-integrated, modular infrastructure stack designed to facilitate quicker deployment of AI into production environments.
A key feature of this initiative is the next-generation HPE Private Cloud AI, which has been co-developed with NVIDIA and is validated as part of the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory framework. This comprehensive, ready-to-deploy AI factory solution will feature HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 servers equipped with the new NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. These high-performance servers are designed to serve as a universal data center platform, supporting a wide array of enterprise and industrial AI use cases. Organizations can now place orders for these servers through HPE.
In addition, HPE announced the introduction of a new NVIDIA HGX B300 system, known as the HPE Compute XD690, which is built with NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. This latest addition to the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE lineup is expected to be available for shipping by October.
Japan’s KDDI is collaborating with HPE to develop NVIDIA AI infrastructure, furthering global AI adoption. The system, constructed by HPE, will utilize the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform, based on the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell architecture, and will be housed at the KDDI Osaka Sakai Data Center.
As part of efforts to enhance AI capabilities within the financial services sector, HPE plans to co-test agentic AI workflows in collaboration with Accenture’s AI Refinery, utilizing HPE Private Cloud AI and NVIDIA technology. Initial applications will focus on areas such as sourcing, procurement, and risk analysis.
To bolster these initiatives, HPE is expanding its “Unleash AI” ecosystem by adding 26 new partners, thereby supporting a broader range of NVIDIA AI use cases. This expansion brings the total number of packaged AI workloads offered by HPE to over 70, covering applications from fraud detection and video analytics to sovereign AI and cybersecurity.
Security and governance are also central to HPE’s strategy. The HPE Private Cloud AI supports air-gapped management, multi-tenancy, and post-quantum cryptography, ensuring robust security measures. Additionally, HPE’s try-before-you-buy program allows customers to test the system in Equinix data centers prior to purchase. To further assist organizations in scaling their AI deployments, HPE has introduced new programs, including AI Acceleration Workshops in partnership with NVIDIA.
