  6. Discount Holiday Decorations: Scammers targeted English-, French-, Italian-, and German-speaking users with offers of artificial Christmas trees and decorations at suspiciously low prices. They used videos of holiday decorations with AI-generated voiceovers to create urgency about limited stock. These videos were distributed across platforms like Facebook and Pinterest. Those who expressed interest were directed to websites, sometimes created with Shopify, to make purchases that would never be fulfilled.
