This marks our fifth annual survey, and we are incredibly grateful for the 557 respondents who took the time to share their thoughts and suggestions.

  2. Plesk Migrator Improvements (19.4%): Enhancements to the Plesk Migrator are in high demand. Users are looking for a more seamless migration experience when transferring data between servers.
  3. Staging Sites in One Click (19%): The ability to create staging sites with a single click is a highly requested feature that would simplify the testing and deployment of updates.
  4. Improved Webmail Experience (17.6%): There is a significant demand for enhancements to the webmail interface, aiming to provide a more intuitive and efficient user experience.
  5. Site/Server Automatic Health Reports (17.4%): Users are seeking automatic health reports for sites and servers, which would provide valuable insights into performance and potential issues.
  6. SEO Tools (17.4%): The inclusion of SEO tools is another popular request, as users seek to optimize their websites for better search engine visibility.
  7. Renew Plesk Mobile Application (15.1%): Enhancements to the Plesk mobile app are desired to improve functionality and user experience on mobile devices.
  8. Better Litespeed Integration (14.9%): Improved integration with Litespeed technology is sought after to enhance server performance and efficiency.
  9. Plesk as a Private VPN Server (13.6%): Users are interested in the ability to use Plesk as a private VPN server, offering additional privacy and security options.
  10. Extended Support for Old PHP Versions (Security Patches) (13.3%): Providing extended support for older PHP versions, particularly in terms of security patches, is a priority for some users.

    As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to announce that we plan to deliver at least half of the features requested by our community. Our roadmap is designed to address the evolving needs of our users while ensuring that we continue to offer a robust and reliable platform.

    • A user expressed appreciation for Plesk’s affordability and efficiency in hosting, while also highlighting concerns about pricing increases, especially for new hosting providers with smaller user bases.
    • Another respondent emphasized the importance of addressing bugs and focusing on essential features rather than redundant ones that attempt to replace system administrators.
    • Suggestions were made to improve the strategy for soliciting reviews, such as sending timely emails or push notifications and making the review process more accessible.
    • The user interface was praised for its excellence, and there were calls for better guidance on email and domain configuration, especially in scenarios where DNS is not managed by Plesk.
