For the second consecutive year, Taraji P. Henson will host Culture’s Biggest Night at the BET Awards in 2022. The programme is broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on BET on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Anderson and Bruno Mars formed the R&B group Silk Sonic.

Paak, with three victories overall, earned the most. In addition, the duo received awards for best ensemble and album of the year for “An Evening With Silk Sonic.” Paak also won home video director of the year for filming their music videos. For his work on “Family Ties,” which he produced with Baby Keem, Kendrick Lamar won for best male hip-hop artist and best video.Best actor went to Will Smith, and best film went to “King Richard.”

Lil Wayne, Lizzo, Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Babyface, Chance the Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, Ella Mai, Fireboy DML, Giveon, Joey Bada$$, Maverick City Music x Kirk Franklin, Latto, and Muni Long are among the celebrities who will be performing during the event. Unexpected guests included Kanye West, who presented Sean “Diddy” Combs with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Brandy during Harlow’s performance, and Mariah Carey, who performed “Big Energy” with Latto.

The 2022 class’s nominees are chosen by the BET Voting Academy, a group of industry experts from the industries of music, television, film, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, influencers, and the creative arts.
