Fix- Your Account has been Disabled in the Apple Store and iTunes

Try to unlock your Apple ID

If your account is deactivated because you entered an incorrect password too many times, you can simply wait for 24 hours and then try to log into your Apple ID again.

You can also unlock your account by verifying your identity with Apple.

  • Go to ‘iForgot on your iPhone.
  • Then you need to go to the Settings option. From there, select your name.
  • Next tap on iTunes Store and App Store. Select your Apple ID and then tap on ‘iForgot’.
  • Then all you have to do is to follow the instruction provided to unlock your Apple ID with your current password or choose to reset it.

Two-Factor Authentication:

If two-factor authentication is enabled, to unlock your Apple ID your need to enter your trusted device and phone number.

Sign-in into your Apple ID via a Browser

Look for any restrictions on your iPhone

Look if any restrictions are enabled on your iPhone or not. Sometimes restrictions can be enabled to restrict any in-app purchases.

If none of the above options work, you should contact Apple directly.

Follow these steps to contact Apple:

  • Go to the Apple Support Website and then, select your Apple ID.
  • Select “Disabled Apple ID”. After doing this you start an online chat session with an Apple employee.
