You can’t make any transactions with a locked Apple Card until you manually unlock it.

How to unlock Apple Card

In the Wallet app, you can select to unlock Apple Card at any time.

1) Open the Wallet app on an iPhone running iOS 12.4 or later.

2) Select Apple Card from the menu.

3) At the top, tap the three-dot More button.

4) Scroll down to the Physical Card area, then hit Unlock Card.

5) Finish unlocking your titanium card by following the steps.
