How To Enable And Use Voice Typing In Windows 11

Windows has an inbuilt speech recognition tool that captures your spoken words and converts them into written text. The best thing is that you don’t have to install any additional software to use this awesome feature.

In spite of being such a productive tool, not many people are aware of it. The ‘Dictation’ tool can cut down on your work by taking down the notes in a meeting or a lecture so that you have to write manually.

Windows 11 has introduced the all-new ‘Auto Punctuation’ feature which easily detects if you are punctuating your voice and punctuates the text in return.

In Windows 11, you can use the Voice Typing Tool in two ways- Microsoft has an in-Built voice typing tool and there is a dedicated ‘Dictation’ tool inbuilt in the Office apps.

Microsoft’s in-built voice typing tool is supported by all the apps and utilities installed in the system whether it is the notepad or any browser.
