15 Best Shows Like Stranger Things You Must Watch

A cultural phenomenon, the Netflix sensation Stranger Things combines intrepid teen exploits, and supernatural mystery. Also Nostalgia for the 1980s into a prestige series that has viewers begging for further installments. Unfortunately, because it’s a stand-alone program, there will only be a finite number of episodes (though sometimes we wish it could). 3. The OA

There was a good reason why the discontinuation of this surreal sci-fi series resulted in a significant, protracted fan outcry. Over the course of two seasons, the show’s basic mystery—which centers on a missing woman who reappears after seven years and recruits a gang of strangers to help her travel to another dimension—expands to include a scientist being kidnapped, the Russian mob, angels, and a telepathic octopus. Additionally, in season 2, Zendaya appears in a tragic role from before Euphoria.

4. Silverpoint

The young detectives from Stranger Things’ new CBBC series transport the Scooby-Doo spirit to a summer camp. A group of campers investigating the disappearance of four adolescents who vanished in the woods 23 years ago comes into a ghostly occurrence. For anyone who suffers nightmares about the Upside Down, it has a happier atmosphere than ST.

5. The Society

A more suburban version of Yellowjackets or Return of the Flies can be found in this Netflix teen drama. A group of high school students returns after a lengthy camping trip to find that all of the adults in their town have vanished and that miles of unexplored forest have suddenly sprung up all around the city. Due to their isolation, the children must establish an order system, learn how to look out for one another, and look into what happened to the adults.

6. Paradise (Paraiso)

This Spanish series, which puts a different international perspective on teen sci-fi, centers on a group of teenagers who reside in Valencia, a seaside town, in the 1990s. Javi, the younger brother of one of the missing girls, joins forces with his two closest friends, the school bully, and the police to track down the three 15-year-old females who had inexplicably vanished from a nightclub. The kids quickly learn that the girls were abducted by an extraterrestrial force.

7. Locke & Key

Following their father’s murder, the three Locke siblings move into Keyhouse, the family’s historic New England home, at the beginning of this wonderful trilogy. There, they find magical keys with various abilities and a demon that wants to use the keys for its own purposes. The group has to discover where the keys originated from and return the demon to its original location.

8. The Umbrella Academy

For anybody still curious about Eleven’s lab “siblings,” this Netflix hit about superhero siblings who are as dysfunctional as they are powerful is a good watch. The seven Umbrella Academy members were all born on the same day to mothers who weren’t pregnant that morning, according to the comic book series by Gerard Way. Then, they were adopted and trained by a masochistic millionaire, preventing the end of the world while also leaving the grown adults with scars they must deal with.

9. Marvel’s Runaways

Stranger Things’ parents are blissfully ignorant of the creatures from Upside Down, but what if they were the real antagonists of the narrative? This comic book adaption centers on a group of super-powered teenagers who find their parents performing what appears to be a human sacrifice and band together to uncover the secrets of the grownups. Runaways is a must-watch if you’ve ever desired The O.C.’s vibe with superheroes because it is also from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

10. Castle Rock

What if Steven Spielberg made a film adaptation of a Stephen King book? That was the original premise for the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Things. This psychological-horror anthology is set in the world of Stephen King’s works, with locales like the Shawshank Penitentiary and characters like Annie Wilkes taking center stage for readers who want to go all-in on the iconic horror novelist’s influence. There is the cast, which includes Melanie Lynskey, Andre Holland, Lizzy Caplan, and Sissy Spacek, even if you won’t recognize the King Easter Eggs.

11. Warrior Nun (1 season)

In the movie Warrior Nun, a repressed teenage girl named Ava (Alba Baptista) awakens in a mortuary with mysterious abilities. And finds herself thrust into a conflict between good and evil that dates back thousands of years. Ava encounters The Order of the Cruciform Sword, It is a covert organization of combative nuns dedicated to defending the world from evil.Ava attempts to live a normal life as a teenage girl experiencing the world around her. Along with grudgingly accepting her responsibilities as the chosen one. There is a lot of intrigue, action, adventure, and romance in Warrior Nun. It has a lot of unexpected twists and turns.

12. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Fans of Stranger Things will enjoy the new Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series, which is based on the horror-themed Archie Comics. It features a lot of children attempting to solve spooky secrets. The show centers on Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka). ateen who struggles to reconcile her life as a witch with her high school experience among mortals. Another witch hiding in plain sight is continually causing havoc. Sabrina and her mortal pals are forced to deal with it. This show also takes set in a small town where supernatural forces seem to govern, similar to Stranger Things. Monsters and evil spirits abound, but there are also brave kids who are willing to combat them.

13. Chambers

What if you received a heart transplant but also received the donor’s memories? Following the events surrounding Native American teen Sasha, Yazzie’s (Sivan Alyra Rose) heart transplant from wealthy white teen Becky Lefevre (Lilliya Reid). Chambers tells her story as she becomes plagued by gruesome visions. Becky’s family shows Sasha what seems to be love and care, but they might be acting with ulterior purposes. The show examines racial issues, conspiracy theories.  It also eamines a strange self-help sect associated with the demon Lilith.

14. The Order

Another magical teen-focusing series is here, but this one also features werewolves. Jack Morton (Jake Manley), a college student, is introduced to a magical, mystic, and lycanthropic world when he joins the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose in season one of The Order. The Order’s second season premiered on Netflix in June. The Knights are currently battling to reclaim the memories that The Order of the Blue Rose stole from them. They will have to battle ruthless magicians, bizarre new cults, and lethal demons once they remember and want retribution.

15. Misfits

You’ll adore the misunderstood adolescent superheroes in the British TV series Misfits. If you enjoy the flawed but enduring personalities of the Stranger Things characters. In the movie Misfits, a catastrophic storm in London. It bestows superpowers on juvenile offenders Nathan, Kelly, Curtis, Alisha, Simon, and Gary. The show redefines what it means to be a superhero, particularly for troubled teens who enjoy committing crimes.
