Also, Northgard has landscapes and weather effects that are just great. The fact that a MacBook from 2013 can run such a beautiful game makes it our favourite.

8. XCOM 2

Feral Interactive did a great job with the port of the game. In spite of the fact that this game needs a modern computer to run, you would expect it to be even more demanding because it looks so good. If I had a 2016 MacBook Pro, it should not be able to run it, but it does!

9. Company of Heroes 2

A new game called Company of Heroes (CoH) first came out in 2006, and it changed the world. The graphics, the environments that can be destroyed. First, I was shocked to see a Panzer tank drive through a wall and kill my men. CoH 2 has everything that the first game had!

CoH2 is all about getting resources, building an army, and defeating the enemy, just like the first game did. That’s not how this game is like StarCraft 2. This game isn’t about building the biggest army as quickly as you can, like that game. CoH2 is a game where every unit is important, and you’ll have to use the right mix of units, terrain, and cover to win. This may sound complicated and slow, but don’t worry. It will all work out. In CoH2, there is a lot of destruction and mayhem in this RTS game.

Feral Interactive did a great job with this port, but the game’s complex physics and beautiful graphics make it hard. In our tests, it looks like if you have a computer that has built-in graphics, you will not be able to play this game.

A perfect match: Fans of strategy games about World War II will like this game, too. There are other things that happen during that time, but CoH2 is the best. Also, people who want to play military strategy games.
